Regrets take several roles in the game, from standing guard at stationary posts to actively chasing (or attempting to scare) the player. If a Regret comes into contact with the player, it is game over. Partway into the game, the player will encounter Regrets ( ルグレ, Rugure), zombie-like spirits that roam the area in exploration mode. In the cursed game, which only uses the top DS screen, the player controls a 2D 8-bit RPG that provides clues to the current situations and can, in some cases, advance the story. In many cases, an e-mail message or update to the cursed game will interrupt the player's exploration.
The player can switch to the TS Menu at any time, where they can play the cursed game, read e-mail messages, and load a previous save file. While exploring, the player must solve puzzles and reach locations. Most of the game takes place in the real world, where the player navigates real-time 3D environments using the DS's D-Pad and Touch Screen. Nanashi no Game involves two separate modes of play. The player holds their DS sideways, so that the touch screen (the player character's forward facing direction) is on the right. There’s a lot to question here, the first being who are the 32 people who have downloaded this DLC and rated it five stars? Do 32 people even own Left Alive? Also, how is it a collaboration if it’s one-sided? I want to see the Metacritic score for Left Alive plastered on some tanks, though that might be hard as not even reviewers can apparently be bothered to play the thing. – World of Tanks icons on Left Alive’s protagonists’ backpacks. The free download will net you the three following things: If you thought buying snacks for free content was a bit off-kilter, Square Enix and Wargaming have taken it up a notch. Those “lucky” enough to have played Left Alive have a free treat in-store: DLC that basically acts as an ad for World of Tanks, because video games are very weird now.
