My GPU avg temperature rarely gets above 75C. I almost always bump up against power limits (375 W on my Asus TUF-RTX3090-O24G-GAMING card with limits set to 107%, rBAR enabled, latest VBIOS). I've done a fair amount of monitoring with various tools. I'm curious what other folks have experienced, and what settings I might be missing. Least impacted settings seem to be Epic for all w/ DLSS Performance. It happens in dx11 and dx12, but it does seem even more noticeable in dx12. Ray Tracing crushes frame rates in Fortnite, unfortunately, so I rarely play with it on. I've tried many different combinations of settings: RT on/off, DLSS various levels, etc. I've seen this across three different monitors: 165 Hz, 144 Hz, and 60 Hz.
Resolution doesn't seem to matter: I've seen it happen at 1080p, 1440p, and 2060p very similarly. I see similar stuttering throughout matches, but it is most noticeable at that initial drop-in to a match. The FPS drops are most prominent when I jump from the bus at the beginning of a match. All patched, latest NVIDIA drivers (471.96), but i've been seeing this for awhile. I am consistently seeing seeing noticeable drops in frame rates (200 fps -> 10.20.30) for 1 second or less in Fortnite.
